Service Description
CPR-C/AED- The Details How It Works 2 hour online portion for CPR-C/AED aid must be completed prior to attending the in-class portion. In-class portion conducted by a certified Red Cross First Aid Instructor. Please allow 24 hours for online training component to be emailed out. Duration 5 hours total time – 5 hours with or two hours online in combination with three hours in class for all blended learning options. Completion Requirements 100% attendance, skills demonstration, and 75% min. passing grade on written exam Certification 3-year certification in CPR-C and AED Course Content CPR-C/AED > The First Aider’s Role > Check, Call, Care > Recovery Position > Choking—Adult > Assisting with Medications > Angina and Heart Attack > Stroke > CPR—Adult > Deadly Bleeding > Choking—child and baby > CPR—child and baby Includes any other content required by specific legislation. Blended Learning Courses marked as blended learning required the completion of an online component prior to the in class session with an instructor. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations, Transfers & Refunds Cancellation Policy: Participants may cancel up to 5 business days prior to course start for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 5 days in advance are non-refundable but may be eligible for transfer. Athelas First Aid reserves the right to cancel or reschedule courses with low enrollment (less than 5 participants), with full refund or transfer options offered. Transfer Policy: Participants may reschedule once, free of charge, if requested at least 48 hours before course start Additional changes incur a $15 admin fee. No-Show Policy: No-shows forfeit registration unless valid documentation (e.g., medical reason) is provided. Exceptions handled case-by-case by the Training Director.
